Permanent Supportive Housing
The focus of COMPASS’ Permanent Supportive Housing is to provide affordable, high quality housing to individuals with serious psychological or mental disabilities and to keep each site in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition.
Persons served are individuals who wish to live independently, but who, because of a mental or psychological disability, are living within limited financial means. Three of our sites also provide supervision, although minimal, because our tenants benefit from this level of assistance due to a higher risk for exploitation. In addition, some of our tenants need extra support in recognizing their personal signs of relapse and managing their medication. Support also provides them an opportunity to interact with others and overcome isolation.
COMPASS operates permanent supportive housing at four different sites:
Gardenview Apartments
(15 units)
Maplewood Manor
(19 units, HUD subsidized)
Veritas House
(15 units, HUD subsidized)
Campbell Apartments
(18 units, HUD subsidized)
