Employment Services for Individuals and Employers

Workforce Development specializes in assisting people in finding jobs and provides ongoing support to help employees and employers sustain the employment relationship.

We support workforce interventions that encourage work and career advancement, increased economic opportunity, and the inclusion of all people.

Helping individuals get hired

  • We provide career counseling to help you determine your interests and strengths, understand your options, and plan for your future.
  • We assist you with resume writing, application forms, and interview training.
  • We specialize in assisting you by connecting you with job training,  employment opportunities, and set up job interviews.
  • We provide you with ongoing support after the job starts to help you sustain the employment relationship.
  • We provide you with assistance in accessing work-related services that promote job stability such as work tools, uniforms, transportation, childcare, credit counseling, housing, etc.
  • We can provice you with a benefits planning sessions if you are receiving SSI/SSDI or other benefits.

We provide individualized services to employers and can provide a no-obligation consultation to discuss your needs. Employers who work with the Workforce Development Program are eligible for incentives, such as:

  • We can provide resumes of qualified applicants.

  • We have opportunities to provide you with free on-the-job training.

  • We can provide access to hiring incentives, when applicable, such as the Work Opportunity Tax Credit.

  • We do all the paperwork and there are no fees, contracts or obligations.

  • We provide on-going support.

  • Our Enhance program can provide you with an employment case manager who can provide resources to your staff and help reduce turnover.

We work closely with youth with disabilities and other special needs, their family and their school to provide a network of support designed to gain employment and discover their long-term career goals.
