Rape Survivor Counseling Services

COMPASS counseling services are available at no cost to all survivors of sexual violence – women, children, men, and their families – including recent victims, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse or parents of a survivor.

Counseling

We offer professional short-term counseling, advocacy in police interviews and court proceedings, referrals to community resources, community education and access to a 24-hour hotline at 330-782-3936.

Community Education and Awareness

We offer community education and prevention programs to hundreds of children, adolescents, and adults each year. Our goals are to stop sexual violence before it happens, reduce the stigma associated with these crimes, and expand the community’s understanding of these issues.

Every contact to COMPASS Chat is personal. Some people who reach out to us identify as survivors of abuse or violence, some as concerned friends or family members, some as abusive partners seeking to change themselves. Many people may be unsure of what to expect when you contact us. While every contact is unique, our advocates are guided by the COMPASS core values and will emphasize several key points throughout your conversation:  safety, support, and care.
